Materials in Car Body Engineering 2024
Materials in Car Body Engineering is Automotive Circle’s annual expert conference in Bad Nauheim/Germany, discussing latest developments in all industrially relevant materials that are, or can be, used to produce both structural and outer skin car body parts, with an audience of expert automotive engineers from all over the world.
Each conference program features international OEM, trailblazing system suppliers and/or renowned, application-oriented academic institutions reporting on their innovations and feasibility studies concerning
- steel or light metal alloys and their performance and processability,
- plastics and composites, and their application in the car body,
- the scope 3 sustainability of all these materials
- the applicability of specific semi-finished goods (e.g., panels, profiles, castings)
- quality control and materials property simulation
- latest OEM car body material concepts.
